IRATA Rope access training is the most recognized industrial course in the world and as a GO ROPES we are IRATA certified trainer on number 6041/T. Our trainers have a wide varied background from work which comes mostly from industrial facilities, offshore wind or oil&gas. Knowledge sharing, friendly but primary professional atmosphere is our main goal when providing rope access courses.
Variety of equipment, newest trends in industry and sample models from different manufacturers is available in facility for testing, learning and sharing experiences. Our trainings take 40 hours or 5 days and 1 day for an examination.
IRATA certification have 3 main stages that you can apply on when doing a training, direction of upgrading have to be followed:
IRATA Level 1 – This is a rope access technician who is able to perform a specified range of rope access tasks under the supervision of a Level 3
IRATA Level 2 – This is an experienced rope access technician who has Level 1 skills plus more complex rigging, rescue and rope access skills, under the supervision of a Level 3. To apply you need to be a Level 1 for one year and have logged at least 1000 hours on ropes.
IRATA Level 3 – This is a rope access technician who is capable of complete responsibility for rope access safety in work projects; is able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of Levels 1 and 2; is conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation; has an extensive knowledge of advanced rigging and rescue techniques; holds an appropriate and current first aid certificate and has knowledge of the IRATA training, assessment and certification scheme. To apply you need to be a Level 2 for one year and have logged at least 1000 hours on ropes as a Level 2.
